TWO BEARS
This painting has been very well received in the local Native
& Metis Community. The vibrant Spirit of Bear is what I tried to capture.
The healing power, and cautious strength of Bear is a source of comfort to me. I
try to imagine what it was like in the old days when the Pines rose a hundred
feet tall and 8 feet wide, when bears could hibernate in the tree trunks. I do
not think living so close with these beings was as dangerous as people think of
them now, food was not so difficult to obtain and people were Brother to Bear,
